The ‘Crab Fest Artwork’ was made by Emma Blyth in year 2015. “Mandurah artist Emma Blyth has grown up in the Peel region and has been inspired by it’s natural environment and lifestyle.The main features in this years artwork is Mandurah’s blue manna crab and our Old Mandurah Bridge.” This artwork is made from Bird’s eye view, the colors are a mixture of cool and warm colors to showcase the environment. She has various animals in this picture such as: a seagull, crabs, fish, and dolphins. I love how she painted the crabs blue in the water, along with the color of the river. I also like the way her bridge is at the top of the paper going to the right. All in all, her color scheme is very pretty and very detailed. In this crab fest artwork, the color yellow-orange and red is mostly used at the top of the artwork to visualize the atmosphere and the color the sun is giving off.
